Visitors alongside a military vehicle at a previous Haworth 1940s Weekend
THE next instalment in a programme of entertainments to support Haworth 1940s Weekend will be held in the New Year.
Andy Wiseman will perform in a Neil Diamond tribute night at Haworth Village Hall, in Butt Lane.
The evening runs from 7.30pm to 11.30pm on Saturday January 12. Adult tickets cost £10. To book, call Andrea Leathley on 01274 407430.
Organisers of the popular 1940s Weekend have warned the event is now so big it can no longer be run by volunteers alone. They are looking to raise about £10,000 to employ a professional team to carry out duties such as crowd control and traffic management.
