A PAIR of suspected arson attacks in Keighley left two vans destroyed in the space of an hour.
Fire crews from Keighley and Bingley stations were first called to Grant Street, off West Lane, then to Bracken Road, Ingrow, last night. (Dec 27)
The first incident was at 9.45pm. A Keighley Fire Station spokesman said a Ford Transit tipper parked on Grant Street was well alight when the Keighley crew arrived.
He said the firefighters were on the scene for about an hour, adding the vehicle was un-salvageable.
At 10.45pm the Keighley and Bingley crews were alerted again, to tackle a burning Ford Transit in Bracken Road.
The Keighley station spokesman said this vehicle was also written off, adding both fires are thought to have been started deliberately.
