A TEAM effort by staff from Morrisons and the Keighley Big Local programme has delivered the spirit of Christmas directly to children in the town.
Employees at the supermarket dressed up as elves, Mrs Claus and even a Christmas pudding. They travelled around different areas of Keighley handing out gifts to youngsters, before heading for Airedale Hospital.
The Big Local initiative supported the day with a mobile outreach bus, which hosted an arts and crafts team laying on extra entertainment for the children.
A spokesman for Keighley Morrisons said: "Once our team had finished handing out selection boxes to the children we went on to Airedale Hospital to hand out some more boxes.
"We visited the children's ward then went up to an elderly ward and the Accident and Emergency department.
"Our staff say they are looking forward to doing this all again next year.
"Also for Christmas, customers of Keighley Morrisons donated items towards our store's toy donation box.
"Nicole McGuinness, our store's community champion, delivered these gifts to Airedale before Christmas. The hospital was happy to receive them."
