ROCK FANS are in for a treat as Bingley music promoters BAC2Live return to the town’s Arts Centre.

They announced two gigs in winter and summer including the return of the Bingley Blues Bash.

The season kicks off on February 8 when Download Festival 2018 showstoppers Inglorious return to headline following their 2016 support slot with The Dead Daisies.

This time the band, appearing at the end of the UK tour, are armed with a new album “Ride to Nowhere” along with a couple of line-up changes.

Support comes from highly-rated City Of Thieves as well as an acoustic set from Blind River.

A spokesman said: “Guitar heroics will be the order of the day when March 29 sees the return of the Bingley Blues Bash, revamped this year as Blues Power Bash.

“Headliner is the highly-acclaimed and guitarist Danny Bryant who will be making his first Bingley appearance following extensive European touring.

“Perennial local favourite John Verity, celebrating 50 years as a solo artist, will be special guest with his trio.

“Later in 2019 John will be performing an intimate career-defining show An Evening With John V in smaller venues, so look out for a homecoming date.

“Blues Power Bash will be opened by newcomers No Fit State comprising Danny Yates and Mike Nielson, leaning heavily on Sixties rock and blues influences, with their debut album set for release to coincide.

“Expect a set of retro sounds with a modern thread.”
