THE FRIENDS of Devonshire Park are organising willow-weaving workshops for the winter and spring.
They will be at another park to host the first event on February 10, with a family workshop at the Conservatory in Cliffe Castle Museum.
Families can weave their own willow birdfeeder between 11am and 1pm, with Joe Gregory from Creative with Nature.
The free event is funded by the People’s Postcode Lottery, but donations to the museum and park are invited on the day.
Friends spokesman Kate Toch said: “It would be great to see families creating from willow to encourage wildlife into gardens and wild spaces.”
Email cliffe.castle@bradford.gov.uk, call 01535 618231 or visit the museum front desk, in order to book places,
A second willow-weaving event will be entitled Pea Climber and Dragon Flies, on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 23 and 24, from 11am to 2pm.
