Smoke could be seen billowing from the house in Old Road
CANNABIS plants went up in flames this morning after a fire broke out at a house this morning.
Police were called to the property in Old Road, Horton Bank Top, at 7.42am to provide assistance to the fire service.
A person was trapped in the house, and had to be rescued by the fire service.
Police closed off the road while firefighters tackled the blaze. Smoke could seen billowing into the morning sky earlier from the house.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said some plants were in the building, but the total amount was as yet unknown as the scene was still active.
