PEOPLE from across the district are being invited to submit work to this year’s Bradford Open art competition.
Anyone aged 16 or over who lives, works or studies in the Bradford district can enter.
Winning work will be exhibited at Cartwright Hall in Bradford, from February 2 to May 5.
The overall winner will be announced at the exhibition’s official launch, on February 3.
Bradford Council is organising the competition.
Maggie Pedley – the council’s libraries, museums and galleries manager – said: “Bradford Open is a really important highlight of our cultural calendar. It shows off and celebrates the amazing creative talent we have in our district.”
Anyone is welcome to attend the launch, from 1pm to 3pm. Admission is free.
