A MAN has been arrested after a stabbing in Keighley town centre.
West Yorkshire Police confirmed they were alerted to the attack in Bridge Street at 11.55pm on Saturday night. (Jan 19)
Paramedics were also called to the scene and an appeal has been issued for witnesses to come forward.
A spokesman for the police said: “Officers have arrested a 26-year-old man following an incident in which a man was stabbed in Bridge Street, Keighley, on Saturday evening.
“He remains in custody at this time while enquiries continue.
“Anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have more information is asked to contact Bradford District CID on 101, quoting crime reference number 131900 34424, or use the live chat facility on the West Yorkshire Police website.
“Information can also be reported anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
