A STAR of the cult classic Rocky Horror Picture Show is the star guest at this year’s Keighley Comic Con.

Patricia Quinn played Magenta in the famous movie and will be at Victoria Hall when the event for sci-fi and fantasy fans returns for its third year.

Returning to the Comic Con will be Ross Mullan, who plays the White Walker in TV series Game of Thrones as well as various characters in Doctor Who.

Also back for the Saturday March 16 event will be Phill Martin who performed in the films Pan and Prometheus.

All three guests will take part in guest talks on stage, as well as signing autographs, posing for selfies and chatting to the public about their experiences on the big and small screens.

Savage Beast Events, organisers of the event, promise new displays for 2019 including an Aliens scene, a Star Wars land speeder, and a “hugely impressive” large T-Rex and toilet scene in homage to Jurassic Park.

Spokesman Natalie Gosney said: “Fans of the long-running Doctor Who series will be delighted to see a Tardis and Dalek at the event this year too.

“There are also fantastic new costumers this year including the East Midlands Garrison with their smashing troupe of Star Wars characters and helmet display, and Star Industry Entertainment’s very own Iron Man.

“There will also be a meet and greet on stage with the fantastic Guardians of the Galaxy character Groot from the Super Heroes Cosplay Group, as well as their usual team of friendly superheroes.”

Professor Lorenzo Phear’s Charms and Enchantments Wand School will teach incantations, wrist flicks and wand manoeuvres.

Other attractions include Virtual Reality, Pirates with Parrots flying display, Tom Tricks the Guinness World Record-holding balloon modeller, magic shows, and an inflatable shooting range and Ghostbusters Mr Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.

Keighley Comic Con runs from 10am to 5pm. Tickets are available from savagebeastonline.co.uk/keighley, Keighley Leisure Centre or on the door.
