A MOTORBIKE rider was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a collision with a pedestrian.
The incident happened in North Street, Keighley, outside the HSBC bank yesterday. (Feb 6)
Police were called to the scene by the ambulance service at 5.21pm, and the road was closed for almost four hours.
The rider of the motorbike was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with serious injuries, police said, and the pedestrian was taken to Airedale Hospital but only suffered minor injuries.
The road was closed while police carried out inquiries, and was re-opened at 9.15pm last night.
