A KEIGHLEY community café is running a free bus to a World Autism Awareness Day event in Bradford.

Cafe Eden is offering the shuttle bus local residents for the drop-in information event at the Richard Dunn Sports Centre in Bradford on April 2 from 10am to 2pm.

Café Eden founder Fiona Thompson said: “Autism is a lifelong challenge affecting people’s communication and interaction with the world. This is an opportunity to find out more about autism, the help that is out there, and help create a society that works for autistic people.”

Café Eden is held every month at Keighley College for parents and carers of youngsters with autism. The next Café Eden sessions will be on March 8, April 12, May 10, June 14, July 12, September 13, October 11, November 8 and December 13. The Friday sessions run from 10am to 11.30am.
