A celebration of the completion of the Butterfield Stained Glass Window project at Keighley’s Cliffe Castle Museum takes place next month.

An event is due to be held by the main staircase at 11.30am on Sunday March 3.

A spokesman for the organisers said: “Members of the museum’s project team will be available for questions about the project between 1pm and 3pm.

“There will also be a family drop-in activity taking place between these times.

“The project has been made possible by the generous support of the following funders: The Friends of Cliffe Castle, The Friends of Bradford Art Galleries and Museums, Sir Charles and Lady Nina Bracewell Smith, the Cliffe Castle Trust and the Swire Trust.”

Preparatory work for the stained glass window conservation began in spring of last year, with the museum closing for a day to enable scaffolding to be installed.

People wanting to attend the launch are asked to RSVP either via e-mail to cliffe.castle@bradford.gov.uk, or by calling 01535 618231.
