A KEIGHLEY opticians has signed the Armed Forces Covenant, pledging to support serving personnel, veterans and their families.
Specsavers has announced several initiatives, including a commitment to hire veterans. Working with the Career Transition Partnership, the store will help people moving from the armed forces into a career with the opticians.
The store will aim to support employees who are partners or spouses of military personnel.
And, where possible, it will accommodate the training and deployment of employees who serve as reservists.
Discounts will be available for those in the armed forces.
Keighley store director Raj Gill, said: ‘This covenant is something we feel strongly about. We’ve taken the step forward to identify exactly what we can do and promised to make it happen.
“We welcome anyone into our store who wants to find out more about the covenant.”
