A SPELLBINDING night is promised at Bingley Arts Centre in the annual Hey Presto show.

Bradford Magic Circle will host their annual family magic show Saturday, March 23 at 7.30pm.

Spokesman Mark Wild said: “This year we have really pulled out the stops and have a whole host of professional magicians from around the world.

“The compere and children’s magician is ventriloquist John Kimmons, aka ‘Kimmo’. He has just returned from another season performing on the Disney Cruise Line around the Caribbean and is so funny the whole family will be in stitches of laughter!

“From Scotland we have the skilled manipulative magic of Hamish, who won the Theo Speaker trophy and Ditta shield for manipulation at the International Brotherhood of Magicians convention in 2018.

“From Amsterdam we have Fritz Alkemade, a highly-sought-after comedy magician who frequently travels the globe performing his brand of magic.

“Illusionists ‘Disillusion’ also travel the world and headline cruises with stunning illusions and magic.”

John Kimmons has spent all of his working life in show business, beginning his professional career at the age of 15.

John’s big break came in 2008 at Blackpool Opera House, when he took on the best in the business and was awarded the title of ‘Children’s Entertainer World Champion’.

He also became the first children’s act to receive the prestigious Ken Dodd Award for Comedy, and is in demand both as a comedy act and as a lecturer and consultant to other entertainers.
