A JOURNEY into space helped a Keighley theatre group raise £1,216 for Manorlands.
The Big Soup Theatre Company donated the entire proceeds from its recent show The Centre of the Universe 2.
Big Soup, based in Russell Street, provides theatre activities for adults with learning disabilities, including training and a chance to perform.
Centre of the Universe 2, the sequel to a successful show the previous year, featured performances by staff and parents rather than the members.
There were a series of comedy sketches and slapstick with themes such as Star Wars, Kes, and the return of the Yorkshire Hacker.
