A COMPANY which won recognition for its fundraising at last year's Keighley BigK 10K is taking part again.

Morses Club PLC coined-in more than £4,700 at the 2018 event, and took the prize for the group or business raising the most.

Three teams from the Birstall firm are set to be among the starters again, on March 31, and together they have already raised over £3,000 in sponsorship.

The line-up includes company secretary Dave Belmont, who is participating in his eighth BigK.

The run and walk is held annually – on Mother's Day – in aid of Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice, Manorlands.

It starts and finishes at Victoria Park, following a multi-terrain route around the town.

There is also a 5K event.

Andrew Wood, community fundraising manager at Manorlands, said: "We are delighted that Morses Club has enthusiastically risen to the call to get involved in the event and once again raise funds.

"We hope it will inspire lots of other businesses to get a team together and join in the fun."
