FUNDRAISING is set in stone for Manorlands.
Keighley-based M & G Stone has presented a £300 cheque to the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice.
The money was raised through a Valentine's Day initiative, in which the company carved messages into heart-shaped stones for customers and made a donation for each sold.
A similar venture, also in aid of Manorlands, is being staged ahead of Mother's Day.
Andrew Wood, community fundraiser at the hospice, pays tribute.
"It is great to see traditional skills being used locally to help people mark special occasions," he said.
"And for us at Manorlands, this is a real boost to the care we provide to local people when it matters most."
