THE latest cakes and buns sale in Keighley to help a young girl with cerebral palsy raised £1,114.
The charity sale was staged in the Airedale Shopping Centre earlier this month (March) to support 12-year-old Charlotte Wormald.
Proceeds will go towards funding Charlotte's trips to a sanatorium in the Czech Republic, where she receives therapeutic, rehabilitative treatments.
Charlotte, who has daily physiotherapy, now lives in Menston but was born in Airedale Hospital and used to live in Riddlesden.
Her gran, June Wormald, who made some of the produce for the Airedale Centre fundraiser, said: "It was a brilliant sale, with the amount raised only 14 pence off our best so far.
"Thanks to all the staff at Airedale, all our bakers and helpers and to the people of Keighley who bought produce from us."
