A WORTH Valley-based village group will begin staging a series of car boot sales in Cross Roads this spring.
Lees cum Cross Roads Village Association will be holding the sales at the 3 Acres pub and restaurant in Bingley Road Cross Roads.
The first sale is scheduled for Saturday April 27 from 9am till noon. Car pitches are priced at £6 and vans/trailers £8. Refreshments and toilets will be available, and free parking for buyers will be provided.
A spokesman for the organisers said: "We'd like to say a special thanks to Mark Hudson, landlord of the 3 Acres, who has generously provided the use of his field for the event.
"Also, thanks to Lees Moor Cattery for providing extra buyers' parking across the road.
"We are hoping for good weather and a good turnout for the carboot sale. People can keep up-to-date with all dates by finding us on Facebook @CRVAcarboot, or for enquiries they should contact us on 073965 99860. We ask people to contact us for details, rather than the 3 Acres."
