A DANCE delight is promised by pupils of a Silsden dance school as they present their annual show.

The Elizabeth Phillips School of Dance will perform at Glusburn Institute on Friday and Saturday, April 12 and 13 at 7pm.

In the first half of the show, pupils will dance to the story of The Shoemaker and the Elves.

Laura Cook plays the Shoemaker, Hannah Lyons plays his wife, and Rachel Smithies and Eleanor Ackroyd play the Elves who make magic shoes.

Senior students will play the Prince and Princess and customers who go along by the dancing shoes.

Elizabeth said: “The second half of the show Here Comes Summer was inspired by our fantastic summer last year and we hope it will be an omen for another great summer this year.

“All proceeds from the show will be given to local children’s charities.”
