BRADFORD arts centre Kala Sangam will host the Gospel Expo on April 27 with a performance of Voices&Us.
The group will perform live music with original songs, remixed gospel classics, and special collaborations, as they raise money for the Porridge Project.
Voices&Us are described as a group of innovative, creative and talented people from Bradford who use their creativity and performances to make a difference and fundraise for a variety of national and international projects.
Providing a nutritious breakfast for otherwise hungry school children, the Porridge Project is based in Dongamuzi Zimbabwe.
A spokesman said: “Combining great vocal talent with innovation and creativity, Voices & Us offer moving and uplifting performances of original songs and remixed classics.”
Alex Croft, creative director of Kala Sangam said: “Each season at Kala Sangam we look to bring some of the most exciting acts in a whole range of musical styles - from rap to qawaali to jazz - to Bradford.
“This season our audiences can also experience the positive energy of gospel music for the first time. As well as it being a great night out, the event will also be raising money for a really worthy cause so it’s the ultimate feel-good experience!”
