OLDFIELD dairy farmer Sally Wellock has again achieved show success with her Harehills pedigree dairy herd.
Sally, from West House Farm, was champion at the last dairy show and sale at Skipton Auction Mart in March.
She returned this month with a cow that had given birth 10 days before, named Harehills Lobelia 738, by a descendant of De-Su Gillespy.
Giving 32 litres of milk, the cow sold for £1,500 to the Hartley dairy farming family in Beamsley.
The next Craven Dairy Auction fixture will be on Monday April 29, and includes the annual Spring Sale of bulls and young stock, with the added possibility of a good run of dispersal cows.
