FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze at Sutton-in-Craven.
A crew from Skipton Fire Station was called out just before 5.30pm yesterday to deal with the blaze in the open, at Ellers Road.
A hosereel jet was used to extinguish the flames.
It is believed the incident was caused by controlled burning that had subsequently been left unattended.
