WET WET Wet are back on the circuit but without original lead singer Marti Pellow. The hugely-popular 80s and 90s band features musicians Graeme Clark, Tommy Cunningham, Neil Mitchell and Kevin Simm.
Bursting onto the scene in 1987, Wet Wet Wet racked up a host chart hits including UK number ones With A Little Help From My Friends, Goodnight Girl and Love Is All Around.
The Glasgow lads became one of the most successful bands in British pop history, selling more than 15 million singles and albums.
Over the years they featured in the UK official singles and album charts for more than 500 weeks, and played to more than four million people in dozens of countries around the world.
They set a record by playing ten sold out shows at Glasgow’s SECC in 1995, when they were officially the most popular live act in the UK – even out-selling the Rolling Stones who were also on tour that year.
The band this year celebrate the 30th anniversary of their debut album Popped In Souled Out. The quartet can be seen at St George’s Hall in Bradford on Sunday April 28.
