AN eggs-citing Easter is on offer at a historic hall.

A packed programme of activities is taking place at National Trust property, East Riddlesden Hall.

Children can take part in the Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt, which began yesterday and continues until Monday, from 9.30am to 4.30pm.

Youngsters following the garden trail receive a Cadbury chocolate egg.

Trail sheets cost £2, and general admission prices apply.

Young visitors can also become royalty.

They have the chance to make nature crowns in the hall’s activity room, and write a wish to hang on apple trees to encourage a good harvest. The sessions continue until Tuesday.

There is also a wild garden area featuring a mud pie kitchen, hobbit house, den building corner and balancing logs.

Other attractions include traditional gingerbread making, at £1 per person.
