KEIGHLEY Comedy Club will this month host Chris Kent, Markus Birdman and Carla Pol.

Phil Ellis will be the master of ceremonies when the stand-up comics take the stage at the Café Choux Choux.

The show will be on Sunday May 12 at the café, which is at Keighley railway station. Doors open at 7pm. Tickets cost £9 in advance or £!2 on the door subject to availability

Markus is a leader on both the UK and international live comedy circuits and regularly headlines at the coveted Comedy Store.

He has had sell out shows at the Edinburgh, Adelaide, Melbourne and New Zealand Comedy Festivals.

According to the BBC, Markus is “the all-round package; witty, controversial, hip, topical, silly. A master of timing and physical comedy, he made me laugh so hard it hurt”.
