NEARLY 200 children were kept busy and entertained with a variety of Easter activities and outings arranged by Keighley's Highfield Community Centre.
The programme for youngsters, which involved children from across the town, ran on week days from April 15 to April 25.
Co-ordinator Aqil Qazi: "We normally put on activities every half term and the Easter events went fantastically well – they were brilliant.
"I'd like to say a special 'thank you' to Asda and Sainsbury's in Keighley and to Keighley Cougars who donated eggs for our Easter Egg hunt, and also to the volunteers who came and helped us out."
He said the nine days featured a fun day in and around Cliffe Castle Museum, a five-a-side football tournament on the games area outside the community centre, cricket matches in Devonshire Park as well as outings to the cinema, the bowling alley and to Insane Air recreation centre in Bradford.
Mr Qazi added: "We ran successful arts and crafts sessions in the community centre, which were supported by Asda Keighley's community champion – she helped us with the facepainting. And on the last day we held a party."
