A BUS-pass adventurer hopes his latest challenge will prove just the ticket for a hospice.
Martin Carr sets off next Friday (May 17) on a round-the-coast trip to raise money for Manorlands.
Using his senior travel pass, he will take in a route including Scarborough, Lincolnshire, East Anglia, Essex, Kent and Portsmouth.
He will be armed with a collection can and hopes to coin-in £2,000 for the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice during his eight-week journey.
Mr Carr will use a mixture of overnight accommodation en route, from youth hostels to friends' homes or his own pop-up tent!
Manorlands community fundraising manager, Andrew Wood, said: "We are delighted that Martin is taking on this novel challenge to benefit his local hospice.
"We’re sure he’ll pick up lots of support from people on his journey."
The venture follows a similar expedition last year, when Mr Carr used his bus pass to travel the south-west of England.
