FIREFIGHTERS from Keighley and Silsden have today helped tackle the second blaze in less than a month on Ilkley Moor.

The crews were among ten from across West Yorkshire called out to the incident.

They used the Cow & Calf Rocks car park as a base.

The blaze broke out shortly before 10am.

A brigade spokesman says the fire is now out, although four fire engines remain at the scene.

West Yorkshire Police said a 48-year-old woman had been arrested in connection with the incident.
