A MAN jailed for sexually assaulting a teenage girl has been returned to Bradford Crown Court and imprisoned for 21 months for possession of indecent images of children.
Adam Baird, 27, who is currently serving a four year and four month prison sentence, pleaded guilty to seven offences involving 1,200 images, 381 at category A, the most serious rating.
Baird, then of Braithwaite, Keighley, was jailed in January last year after dragging the girl into an alleyway and assaulting her on Oakworth Road in the town on October 13, 2017.
On Friday, the court heard that police investigating the sexual assault allegation found the indecent images on Baird’s computer when they searched his home on October 24, 2017.
Judge David Hatton QC ordered the new prison sentence to run concurrently with the jail term Baird is serving.
