PUNK pioneers Wonk Unit headline the Exchange in Keighley on July 12.
The band with a formidable reputation on the live punk scene can be seen at the Russell Street venue at 7.30pm.
Led by Alex "Daddy Wonk" Johnson, the group mixes up skate punk, observational humour and electronica toy-like beats to make something entirely new.
An Exchange spokesman said: “Hard to pigeon-hole, it’s DIY post punk with optimism and a little anger. From love ballads to power punk thrashers, Wonk Unit aren’t scared to cross genres. Always highly original and entertaining.”
Wonk Unit are a continually touring band, travelling across the UK, Europe in the US, playing from a one or two-piece acoustic act to a six-piece wall of sound including trombone and keyboards.
They supported Teenage Bottlerocket on their 2015 UK tour and The Raging Nathans on their 2015 USA tour, and appeared at The Fest. They toured with Slaves on their biggest-ever UK tour in 2015.
