HUNDREDS of people turned out for an annual family fun day staged by Oakworth Juniors Football Club.

Organisers said they were delighted with the response to today's event, at the club’s Bronte playing fields.

Even the rain held out for most of the day and there were occasional glimpses of blue sky.

Attractions at the event included bouncy castles, games, stalls, face painting and a barbecue, and drinks and refreshments were served in the clubhouse.

There were also several friendly matches and a tournament, including a parents versus coaches game, on the various pitches.

The young players had the chance to give their trainers and managers a drenching in a soak-the-coach game.

And Keighley-based line dancing group Owzitstart performed, and invited visitors to take part.

All proceeds from the event will go to club funds.
