KEIGHLEY primary schools are being offered the chance to give their sports days a ‘winning edge’.
Free Team GB packs are available as part of a partnership between the national Olympic committee and Persimmon Homes, which is building a development off Occupation Lane, Keighley.
The packs include a sports day schedule, Team GB stickers, posters, certificates and bunting activity sheets to help decorate the field.
Simon Whalley, sales director for Persimmon Homes West Yorkshire, said: “We have always believed in supporting the communities where we build and have a history of helping grassroots sports, which includes activities run by schools.
“The summer term is always a busy time, and thanks to our partnership with Team GB we hope these packs will add a bit of extra excitement to one of the biggest days in every school’s calendar.”
