The Eid celebration at the Sangat Centre
MORE than 100 women and children met for an Eid party.
The event took place at the Sangat Centre, in Marlborough Street, Keighley.
It was staged in partnership with Bradford Literature Festival.
An outline was given of the celebration of Eid and its importance to Muslims, and there were recitals of nasheeds.
A spokesman for the Sangat Centre said the gathering had been a huge success and positive feedback was received.
One attendee had described the event as “enjoyable and informative”.
