A GLUSBURN schoolgirl and her grandma have teamed up to raise funds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Gracie Garnett, a year six pupil at Glusburn Primary School, and gran Irene Moses made £300 by selling knitted Easter chicks and sewn bookmarks.
The pair visited the Yorkshire Air Ambulance in June to present their cheque to the charity.
Louis Sugden, a year four pupil at Glusburn Primary School, raised £61 for Cancer Research UK by selling home-made fudge, rice crispy buns and sweets.
School head Richard Hunt said: “The school is proud to have such caring and self-initiated pupils, thinking of ways to help others.”
