STEETON singers will have sax appeal when they perform a charity concert in Halifax on July 13. Steeton Male Voice Choir will take the stage alongside Snake Davies at the Square Chapel.

The concert promises something for everyone with blues, swing, popular favourites and traditional male voice choir items.

Snake has provided his iconic saxophone sound for a host of famous pop singles. He provided saxophone solos for Take That’s A Million Love Songs, M People’s Moving On Up and Search For The Hero, and Lisa Stansfield’s Change.

A spokesman said: “Snake is one of the world’s most in-demand saxophone players, working with music’s biggest artists such as Eurythmics, George Michael, Cher and Beyonce. During his career Snake has toured the world with Lisa Stansfield, Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart and played with James Brown, Paul McCartney and Tina Turner.”
