KEIGHLEY’S John Grogan was among more than 200 MPs who attended a mass lobby at Westminster.
The Time is Now gathering, which attracted over 12,000 people in total, demanded action on the climate and environment.
Organiser of the lobby was the Climate Coalition and Greener UK.
Mr Grogan said: “The event brought together surfers, scientists, bird watchers, doctors, business leaders, faith groups and many others, unified by one thing – a desire to see rapid, ambitious action for climate, nature and people. I am a great believer in the slogan ‘think global, act local’ and am working closely with a number of groups in my constituency concerned with climate change.”
