Harden and District WI has created sensory planters which have been placed alongside benches in the village
SENSORY planters have been created by Harden and District Women’s Institute.
They have been placed in the village alongside benches previously donated by the WI.
Part of the proceeds of a cheese and wine evening funded the project.
“The plants smell and feel nice and create a relaxing experience for anyone sitting near them,” said a group spokesman.
Funds from the cheese and wine evening were also donated to Dementia Friendly Keighley.
Harden and District WI meets on the second Monday of each month in the St Saviours Church Family Room, Long Lane, at 7.30pm.
At next week's (July 8) meeting, Tricia Atkinson will speak on The Foundling Children.
