DEMENTIA and other ageing issues will be the focus of the latest Keighley Green Drinks gathering for environmentally-minded Keighley people.
One guest, Rod Tickner, will share what Dementia Keighley has been up to, with a focus on activities on the Bentham railway line. The other guest, Ahmed Al-Aagam from Unltd, will talk about Solutions For An Aging Society.
Green Drinks is supported by regeneration group Keighley Big Local, whose coordinator Shaun O’Hare said Green Drinks was helping like-minded people develop ideas.
He added: “Some ideas have led to formal partnerships which have a good chance of being effective because they’re rooted in a relaxed, sociable group.
”We have a lively mixture of people from non-government organisations, academia, government and business. It’s an organic, self-organising network.”
Green Drinks is at the Cafe Choux Choux on Tuesday July 16 from 5.30pm.
