BROWNIES from a Worth Valley pack followed in the footsteps of England’s World Cup heroes with a game of cricket.
Girls from the 1st Cross Roads Brownies took part in a training session at Haworth Cricket Club, taking part in activities such as practising throwing and catching, hitting, and playing a game.
Brownie spokesman Emma Corrigan said: “They loved the challenge in such a beautiful setting. I would like to thank the cricket club because they were enthusiastic to give the girls new experiences.
“The girls enjoyed taking part and Haworth Cricket Club were encouraging the girls to come along to the junior sessions they run.”
