CINDERELLA is next winter’s pantomime from Keighley Musical Theatre Company.

The group will next month hold auditions for both principal performers and the adult and child chorus.

There will be eight performances of the ever-popular show from January 25 to February 1.

Spokesman David Brett said: “The show will be presented at Keighley’s Victoria Hall, transformed as usual into a 400-plus seat theatre, giving a capacity of nearly 4,000 people during the run.

“The pantomime will be performed with the full live orchestra, quality staging, costumes, sound and lighting that our audiences expect from us.

“All those who are interested in auditioning should register via our website before the clock strikes midnight on Monday August 26!”

Chorus auditions will be held on Saturday September 14, 9. 30am for children, 1pm for dancers/ensemble, at St. Stephen’s Church Hall in Steeton.

Dancers and ensemble must be at least 14 years of age, and seven years for the kiddies chorus.

Principal roles will be auditioned on September 1, and those auditioning need to be aged 16 or above.

The parts include Prince Charming, Dandini, Baron Hardup, Cinderella, the ugly sisters, the Fairy Godmother, the small part of a town crier, and a comedy duo of two debt collectors.
