YO HO ho and a barrel of rum... and gin, vodka and whiskey.
Oakworth Community Trust has adopted a swashbuckling pirate theme for its Spirits Festival on September 6 and 7.
The event is the latest of several themed parties organised by the trust throughout 2019 at Oakworth Village Hall.
Any landlubbers in attendance will receive a free glass and be able to experience a range of gins, vodkas, whiskeys and other spirits. There will also be a cocktail bar and beers on offer.
Trustee and Keighley town councillor Luke Maunsell hoped to see as many people as possible go along to the event.
He said: “It should be an extremely exciting night with a lot of different drinks for people to try. I can’t wait to see everybody in their pirate outfits and swigging back the spirits. I hope nobody has to walk the plank!”
