THOUSANDS of visitors are expected to descend on Malham this Saturday as the annual agricultural show takes place on the showground.
A huge number of events have been planned and take place all day, with a number of main ring events starting at 12pm.
As well as a showcase of cattle and sheep, the day include gun dog displays, children’s sports, fell races, fancy dress, vintage machinery, craft and trade stands, craft demonstrations, art, ferret racing, beagles, live music, a farmers’ market, a show of produce, cakes and preserves and handicrafts.
A good turn out is again expected for the horse and pony classes, along with the working hunters and show jumping.
There will be plenty to keep the youngsters amused with a Punch and Judy show, magician and climbing wall.
Presenting their riding skills will be members of Bradford and District Motor Club who will show off some of the skills of their finest youth riders.
Judging of the various entries for the show takes place from 9am.
A parade of winners will take place in the afternoon followed by a presentation of trophies.
Brass bands will be playing throughout the event with refreshments tents available.
Car parking is available nearby and dogs are allowed on a lead.
