TWO members of a Haworth slimming group have been declared Women of the Year.
Mandy Dennett and Katrina Dobson – who both attend Slimming World sessions at the Baptist Church, West Lane, on Thursdays – were described as inspirational.
Mandy has lost three stones to achieve her target weight.
And Katrina – who formerly used a mobility scooter – has shed five stones, and is now able to walk and swim.
Consultant, Andrea Astin, pays tribute to them both.
“Mandy attends every week and helps others to eat healthily and take-up exercise,” she said. “Katrina has overcome difficulties in her life and now has more confidence. She loves coming to the group.
“Both are an inspiration to others.”
Andrea also runs groups in Denholme, Oakworth and Keighley.
