LATEST: Danny Tetley privacy plea after child sex court appearance
A BRADFORD singer who reached the semi-finals of the X Factor has appeared in court facing a raft of charges for sexual offences against children.
Danny Tetley, 38, of St Enoch’s Road, Wibsey, appeared at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates Court today facing a total of 11 charges.
The performer, who made the live shows in last year’s X Factor series and came in sixth place, has been remanded in custody to appear at Bradford Crown Court.
He was charged with: engaging in sexual communication with a child; four counts of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity; five counts of inciting the sexual exploitation of a child; four counts of possessing indecent images of children, and one count of committing an act to or attempt to pervert the course of justice.
