A KEIGHLEY company has formed a new product supply partnership.
Viking Industrial – a tapes, adhesives and sealants distribution specialist – has signed a deal with heating firm Funkyheat.
Hard Ings Road-based Viking is supplying a product which fixes a bracket and electrics box to the back of an innovative infrared glass-panel radiator.
Rigorous testing was carried out on several products from Viking’s 3M High Bond range before one was adopted.
Viking, which is in its 30th-anniversary year, has dealt with global technology giant 3M since it was formed and remains the organisation’s number-one online partner.
“Funkyheat’s requirement was for a single product for both the bracket and the plastic electrics box which gave strength and was also easy to apply,” said Viking technical specialist, Craig Smith.
“We worked closely with 3M in order to identify the product best suited to meet the client’s needs.”
Funkyheat produces infrared glass mirror heaters for homes and businesses. It is part of the Wholesale Glass group – one of the UK’s largest independent glass processors and mirror manufacturers.
