A MAN has been arrested by police investigating last week’s shooting at a Keighley petrol station.

The 34-year-old Keighley man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently in custody.

West Yorkshire Police said the incident is believed to have happened last Thursday at around 11pm on the forecourt of the Jet service station in South Street.

A spokesman said: “It is being treated as a targeted attack and enquiries are continuing.”

Police are continuing to appeal for information, and anyone who can help should to contact police on 101 or by using the contact options on the West Yorkshire Police website. The log is 2180 of 29 August.
