LATEST: Appeal for dash cam footage after Allerton attack
A busy Bradford road has been closed after a man was attacked in broad daylight.
West Yorkshire Police said a 24-year-old man was taken to hospital after four men got out of a Vauxhall Astra and assaulted him around 2pm in Allerton Road.

The victim is believed to have been in a silver Audi A4, which was damaged.
The incident, in Allerton Road, at its junction with Pearson Lane, Bradford, is causing major traffic problems in the surrounding area.
Police are looking at CCTV and are making enquiries in the area.

An onlooker said: "There's a huge police cordon in place. Traffic is awful.
"It's not too clear what's gone on but it's obviously really serious."
