DIRECTORS at a Keighley law firm put their best foot forward to raise money for a children’s hospice.

Alan Davidson, James Dunn and Felicity Green together clocked-up more than 70 miles running various races.

The trio, from AWB Charlesworth Solicitors, had set a combined target of 26 miles – the equivalent distance of a marathon – and £100 in sponsorship for Martin House.

But the initiative gathered momentum, with the mileage building and the eventual fundraising total hitting £500 – thanks to support from colleagues, family and friends.

Runs completed included Burnsall and Wharfedale half-marathons, the Solstice Saunter at Bolton Abbey and Cookridge, Richmond and Leeds 10ks.

“The ‘final push’ was a challenging run up and down Whernside and Ingleborough!” said Felicity.

“We would like to thank all those who supported our ‘Martin House Miles’ challenge.”
