A KEIGHLEY woman is a shadow of her former self – and delighted!
Vicki Parker, who attends Silsden/Steeton Slimming World sessions, has shed nearly four stones 11lbs.
She has been named the group’s Woman of the Year and will now represent it in a national contest to find the UK and Ireland’s most inspirational female slimmer.
Vicki, 40, weighed-in at just over 17 stones 9lbs when she began attending classes in January.
“I was tired all the time and relied on ready meals and takeaways,” she said. “I was the biggest I’d ever been. Now I’ve gained confidence, have a new-found love of exercise and am able to wear clothes I love.”
Tribute is paid by group consultant, Sarah Greenwood. “Vicki is a fantastic ambassador for Slimming World and what she has achieved is incredible,” she said.
